Let us
stop to discuss or create forums and take action
to wipe off the myths of
Modernization and empowerment – Both genders
must obey to rules…
There have been many shocking and violent
incidents of evils against humanity, whether
committed by political system or an Individual,
whether being the case of a young girl & Boy who
were tortured to death by the youth who too are
Muslims. God forbid if there may be incidents
like this which do not come to the notice of
people, Incidents like these have become part of
Kashmir, however our own youth can be so brutal
and ruthless it really questions our existence
as Muslims. It makes us heartbroken, sleepless
and violent when incidents like these happen but
we always forget to obey our duty as Muslims. It
is disheartening that we are endorsing,
facilitating programs and policies of government
and some other organizations for luring the
youth with the myths of modernization and
empowerment – these are mere ways and plans to
involve the youth in activities planned to keep
us away from the core rights and goals resulting
in destroying our culture and social structure
as laid down by Islam, the endorsement of Sec
377 is just an example of how useless issues are
celebrated and nature is challenged which
obviously will have drastic consequences.
We as a father, mother, daughter or son know
what is wrong and right but still act as mute
spectators, on the name of so called
“empowerment” we are actually losing our
character to be Muslims. If empowerment means to
adopt and practice the ways of opposite genders
other than those delegated by our Creator, then
no doubt it questions our claim to be Muslims.
“Empowering” mankind is giving them respect,
rights and responsibilities in tune with their
physical and natural disposition which only
Islam has given them. It is not the matter to
discuss or pin point each other but time to take
action and contribute at individual levels where
both the genders are equally responsible and
need to adhere with the law of Islam. It is for
both genders that they must be righteous and
guard their modesty as guided by Quran and
explained by the most glorious and mighty
Messenger of Allah. Mohammad (PBUH) has given
Men and Women the empowerment 1400 years back,
which no one even think of at present. As far as
the present packages and slogans to empower
mankind particularly women is just a myth to
hide the reality behind it.
Allah testifies the glory of Quran, saying;
“Alif Laam Meem”, this is the Book; in it is the
Guidance sure; Without Doubt, for those who Fear
Allah. (Al –Baqarah – Al Quran)
Islam - the most increasing and accepted
religion worldwide means to surrender the inner
self and spirit within a Human being towards
Allah. The only difficult and challenging aspect
about Islam in present system is to adopt it in
the true essence as described in the Holy Quran,
the Hadith and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). However
the challenge which guarantees transformation of
all aspects of human life and this world of
death, destruction and lawlessness should be
followed without any further delay and mere
materialistic soul. The best way to contribute
towards fighting the menaces of social evils,
society degradation, moral values and other
deadly evils of our social structure will be to
initiate our innerself and conscious with a
strong desire of implementing the five
fundamentals (pillars) of Islam & Holy Quran.
Tawheed;
Salah;
Fasting;
Zakat;
The Hajj;
In the name of development and empowerment we
are destroying the social structure for which
our Prophet (PBUH) and His companions have given
the maximum sacrifice, the sacrifice of family,
the sacrifice of hunger, the sacrifice of being
poor, The sacrifice of never compromising for
religion even if that costed the basic needs of
a Human being and that too of a Prophet (PBUH)
for whom Allah created the whole universe and
bestowed Him (SA) with the name of Rehmat – Ul –
Aalemeen; Mohammad (PBUH) liberated women with
the right to exist and live by equipping her
equally in this society; but alas ! Being so
educated the women of present times actually
don’t know about their rights and
responsibilities in real sense. Islam has
bestowed women the ability and influence which
can transform an Islamic society where these
evils will not exist at all, we only need to
realize the wisdom behind His commandments
It is worsening on our part that we have lost
our innerself and conscious for hefty and
valueless gains of this limited world and
forgotten our religion; the Quran and the Hadith;
that is why Muslims like us are facing the wrath
of Humiliation, Killings, Social Evils,
Insecurity and other destroying Evils. The more
dangerous is that we are still not waking up
from the materialistic lust which has finally
given birth to those deadly evils which
questions our claim to be Muslims, now it is not
the time to discuss, create forums or
organization which will fight against these
evils created in the name of modernization and
women empowerment but high time to take action
within and at individual levels by adopting the
basic and core components of Islam which will
surely swipe the roots of these deadly evils. By
waiting and blaming each other we are not only
defying our duty to obey Islam but also
destroying our Muslim character and surely our
own seat in the Heavens.
Let us take an initiative to try within
ourselves the essence of Islam and its core
components, The Quran, Hadith, and Sunnah of
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) which will surely lead
us towards the transformation of our inner
character, wisdom, belief and mindset to purely
behave as Asraful Makhlukat – the name Allah has
given us. There is no doubt that Islam is the
solution for Humanity.
May Allah bless and guide us to see the wisdom
behind his commandments – aameen; No doubt that
Islam is the only way to achieve true success in
this limited world.
“Whoever sincerely seeks forgiveness from Allah
is bestowed with His great Mercy and Blessings,
as HE is the most Gracious, the most Merciful”.
